Data Processing Addendum
This general DPA page supports client and service relationships where Audia Systems LLC processes data on behalf of clients.
Controller and Processor Roles
Where applicable, the client may act as controller or business/customer data owner, and Audia Systems LLC may act as processor, service provider, contractor, or comparable role depending on the jurisdiction and written agreement.
The specific data categories, processing purposes, subprocessors, retention periods, security requirements, and transfer terms should be defined in the applicable statement of work, service agreement, order form, or signed DPA.
Processing Instructions
Client data is processed to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, support, improve, and document the requested services, and as otherwise instructed in writing by the client or required by law.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have authority to provide data and instructions, including notices, consents, permissions, lawful bases, and data minimization obligations where applicable.
Security, Subprocessors, and Transfers
Reasonable safeguards may include access control, least privilege, encryption where applicable, backups where applicable, logging where applicable, and provider-level security controls.
Subprocessors may include hosting, email, analytics, storage, security, support, payment, and infrastructure providers as needed to deliver the services. Jurisdiction-specific transfer terms, where required, are addressed in the applicable client agreement or DPA.
Deletion, Export, and Assistance
Clients may request export, deletion, correction, or restriction of client data according to the applicable agreement. Requests may be limited by backups, logs, legal obligations, security needs, dispute records, and technical feasibility.
DPA requests may be submitted through the contact or support page, or by email at [email protected]. Jurisdiction-specific privacy addenda, subprocessors, transfer mechanisms, audit processes, and signature workflows are handled in the applicable client agreement or DPA.
